UACCB is committed to helping students succeed inside and outside the classroom. That’s why we offer a range of free support services, including academic advising, tutoring, transfer guidance, and mental health services. Our goal is to provide every student with the resources they need to achieve their academic and career goals.
At UACCB, caring for students is part of who we are. It shows up in the people who support our students, the spaces we create for them, and the resources we provide to help them succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Students have access to mental health counseling and several places across campus to relax, recharge, and connect between classes. The Zen Den in the Learning Resource Center offers a quiet place to unwind, while the Student Hub in the Student Services Building gives students a comfortable place to spend time between classes, connect with friends, and grab complimentary snacks and food. The UACCB Grill provides another welcoming place to eat, gather, and take a break during the day.
Our Career Closet provides professional clothing at no cost to students who need attire for interviews, career fairs, presentations, and other professional opportunities.
Care also means continually looking for ways to better support our students. Employees from across campus serve on a mental health advocacy group focused on identifying gaps in support and finding practical ways to address student needs.
UACCB Cares because caring is simply part of who we are.
